No Lights No Lycra Morayfield

We know that some people think our dancing in the dark is a little odd - it IS kind of. Quirky and fun. It's also different from other dance sessions, which we like because it gives our dancers a chance to move, groove, swish, sway and feel comfortable in the darkness.
There's no judgement on what you wear or how you dance, or how loudly you sing - zero/zip/nadda.

It's inclusive, we play a WIDE range of music - to suit everyone and we unashamedly will tell you "you can thank us after" ;-)
Wednesday nights we dance at our lovely dance space at the Caboolture Senior Citizens Club. 7 - 8pm.

We make it dark and cosy but there are always some sneaky bits of light around the hall, so you're not in complete darkness. For that first minute or so - YES it's dark! but after that all you can "see" is the silhouettes of other dancers around you.

Another icon in our musical/acting/entertainment industry this week has left us for that other place - RIP Vale Tim Curry. Such sad news to read about today :'-(
For whichever musical, movie or series you remember him in - he was always memorable. He might not have been everyone's "cup of tea" but he certainly was ours ;-)

When our dancers wandered in the door last night to join us for number 3 out of 5 of our PJ Fundraiser Week Dances to help Kids in Foster Care, some had the "hope I'm NOT the only one in my PJ's" look on their faces LOL.
NO they were not! I greeted them in my pink "fluffiness" and PJ's ;-) THANK YOU to everyone who came and to those who dressed up/down/comfortably in their jimjams! (feel free to share any photos if you want).

Thanks also to those who sent requests in - we slotted them in and added some feel good ole faves for good measure.

We were all very saddened to hear about the passing of Dolly Parton :'-( What a loss to the world of country music and the music industry. Dolly was known for her amazing voice, lyrics as an accomplished songwriter, being a talented musician and entrepreneur. RIP Vale Dolly Parton 😢
Long may your music live in our hearts.
As a special tribute our last song tonight is one of our personal favourites and is in remembrance of Dolly.

INFO RE OUR BOOKING OPTIONS.
Hello everyone - you may have noticed we're including TryBooking links for our single entry tickets. We have been asked why, and as always - we like to answer questions whenever we can - because we know there might be others who would possibly also like to know.

We fully support all our ticketing options such as Humanitix, Eventbrite and Trybooking. All worthy for ticketing choices because they support great causes, and all with booking fees as extra.

We leave the choice to our dancers which group/company they can choose at this stage and one reason we've promoted Trybooking is the booking fee is the most competitive. For the future - in 2027, we will be transitioning toward simplifying the admin process and management time of the bookings for ourselves.

We understand there is increased financial pressure out here and if we can help lessen that (by offering tickets with low booking fees) we will do that for our dancers. Just like we offer an Afterpay payment option for our Multi Dance Passes and Merchandise.

Hello everyone - just wanted to jump in here and send a reminder out that 24th August is NLNL Morayfield to Brisbane's start of PJ Dance Week to help raise funds for Kids in Foster Care.

24th July was National Pyjama Day 2026 and we wanted to support this fundraiser but do it a little differently - because that's how we (rock and) roll 😉

NLNL Morayfield's PJ Dance Sesh is on WEDNESDAY 26TH.
EVERY dancer who comes to dance with us at each of our venues from 24th Aug to 28th Aug helps us to make a donation. Dancers don't have to do a separate donation - but can if they would like to.
