- sitting doing my prep for next week, i did a of the trees in front of me, trying out the viridian that i got from thanks to my lovely mum & dad. a lone palm tree in the middle eucalypts and scraggly bush.

I finally finished my crochet project for mum, next step borders and attaching it to the driftwood (its going to be hung on the wall)

it's taken me over 6 weeks on and off. size 20 yarn and a 0.9mm steel hook.

maison d'metta has moved up north, i'm back in the lovely - this is the sunset from where i am.
i can hear birdies and froggies, and at night the pounding of the waves against the shore. just like down south, only way way warmer!

i have almost re-acclimatised to being up north again. it was the other day so i was feeling chilly.

it was 19degrees C (66F ish). 🤦🏻‍♀️

not long ago i was walking around in ballet flats and a nightshirt in a 4C/39F morning... and not actually freezing. human bodies are bizarre.

i have been here long enough to rest my brain a bit, and i'll be working out a bit of a filming schedule for mini art lessons, or draw with mes over the next week.

a little old church at bookham caught my eye while we were stretching our legs. it's a lovely little blackstone church, looks like you can stay here?

the original stormtroopers were the imperial german ones.

they were the crack troops who were created to attempt to go out and overrun the trenches in ww1.

i'm not that into the idea of the dark empire in star wars so this is my take on the prompt of "stormtrooper".
