KSP Theatre Inc was established in 1983 and was known as 'King Street Players' due to their proximity to King Street, Caboolture. In 1996 the group moved to it's current premises on Old Bay Road, Burpengary and a few years later they shortened their name to KSP Theatre Inc (to stop people thinking they were situated in King Street, Caboolture). KSP has grown in leaps and bounds ever since. In the

years since starting, KSP has produced hundreds of shows including Musical Theatre Restaurants, Variety Shows & Cabarets, Comedies, Dramas, Farces and Pantomimes as well as their annual Drama Festival. KSP have also performed as Roving Characters at local events. An intimate theatre with plenty of parking, KSP also has a fully licensed Bar and Cafe. KSP Theatre Inc produce 4 to 5 shows each year as well as their annual Drama Festival.

We are excited to share that KSP Theatre has been announced as a Finalist in the 2026 Local Business Awards (Moreton Bay) in the Outstanding Performing Arts category.

After a particularly challenging year, this recognition has come as a completely unexpected—but very welcome—surprise. There have been many moments that have tested our resilience and receiving this acknowledgement feels even more meaningful because of that.

We're incredibly thankful to everyone who has supported, encouraged, believed in us, and been part of this journey.

Hi Everyone,

It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that due to ongoing works and never ending red tape, we have had to make the decision to cancel our Drama Festival for 2026. While we are devastated that we can't welcome everyone to the theatre this year, we are planning on coming back next year bigger and better than before!

We wish you all "Chookas" for the 2026 festival circuit and look forward to seeing you all again in 2027.

**WE NEED YOUR HELP!!**

We are having a last minute working bee at the theatre on Sunday 30/11/25 at 9am.

This is going to be a big one! We have to get EVERYTHING out from behind the back wall, from behind the bar and from the wings before we have to hand the building over to Council on Monday (for 2 months for works that have been a long time coming).

Whether you can help for an hour or a day, whether you can lift heavy stuff or just sit at a table and sort...we will welcome and appreciate you!

- Please bring your sense of humour, drills, ratchet sets etc as there is a lot to come off walls. -

Lunch, water & soft drinks are provided.
