Huge thanks to all the volunteers of the exhibition and their friendly and meticulous organisation. Setting up this morning went like clockwork. Especially with John lending a hand. I believe will feature the exhibition this Wednesday, when it officially opens. Worth a visit to see such a huge variety of work in a beautiful setting.

After all the busy times preparing for the exhibition, it’s been a wonderful month, meeting lots of lovely people on the week ends. Now just hoping for dry weather for our last day, this Saturday.

Nostalgia time. Matthew Ives, Cultural Development Officer from the City of Unley Council dropped in to deliver the corflute print from my exhibition in 2021. The image has been gracing the street bins in Unley for the last 2 years, as part of their sponsorship for the Active Ageing Prize. Thanks Matthew for your support and to the Council for its sponsorship.

Wonderful SALA offered me the opportunity to chat to Peter and Jill Metzer at Coast FM 88.7 FM about my upcoming exhibition. Waiting there reminded me of the feeling I had on the bridge in Queenstown before I did the bungee jump. The ankles were tied, and there was nowhere to hide. But thanks to Peter and Jill, the free fall was as painless as it could possibly be. They were lovely. Now, only four more sleeps.

Huge thanks to my husband and son for updating my website, while I’ve been busy in the studio preparing for my SALA exhibition in August. These are a few of the pieces I’ve made since the last one.

Makes me smile! Fun to be on the right side of landfill. Unley council sponsored my SALA prize in 2021 and have recently added the image of one of my stacks to their street bins promoting their interest in the arts.
