Hello! I’ve noticed quite a few new faces here lately, and I’m now almost at 40k followers… which feels very surreal.

As an artist, putting your work out into the world can feel a little daunting sometimes, so it really does mean a lot that you’re here following along.

This year has already been a big one, and it’s not slowing down anytime soon. I’m about to take a little break and when I’m back I’ll be straight into finishing pre-booked commissions, working on my large-scale sculpture for SWELL Festival in September, and creating new works for Affordable Art Fair Sydney in November.

So for now, I’ve had to pause taking on new commissions.

Anyone who has already enquired is still on my list, and I’m still very happy to hear from you — it just means new enquiries will go onto a waiting list and I’ll be in touch later in the year with timing.

Thank you so much for being here and supporting my work. I feel very lucky to share it with you.

Something a little different…

Retrograde 2 explores longer palette knife strokes and an unexpected colour palette inspired by mid-century modern design and retro aesthetics.

The dots are a subtle nod to earlier works, while the texture does all the talking.

Hi to all the new followers lately

Thanks so much for being here. Sharing a few little studio moments with my latest works — lots of colour, texture, layers and many hours hidden behind these walls lately.

Really proud of where this new body of work has landed.

Catalogue is live via the link in bio if you feel like having a look 👀

Found 3 — part of my Found Series.

Inspired by small objects discovered in nature, where found objects become the starting point for the artwork itself. The framed rocks shown here are included as a gift with the artwork.

Thank you for the beautiful response to this new series so far!

Found One

The first artwork released from my new Found series — and the first to leave.

This one sold Thursday morning at the Affordable Art Fair and honestly could’ve sold a few times over the weekend. People kept coming back to these colours.

Deep denim blues, burnt reds, layered texture… all inspired by this little shell, which is now heading off with the artwork to its new home as part of a 50th birthday gift. ❤️💙

The final panel from inside The Pixel has found its new home.

The Pixel was my 2023 sculpture for SWELL Sculpture Festival — a large-scale black cube designed to absorb almost all light, so in photos it read like a missing piece from the image.

At first glance, it felt minimal. Just a solid black form.

But step around to the opening and everything changed.

Inside was a full sunrise over water — ocean blue at the base, rising into luminescent yellow and hot pinks — wrapped across four sides of the interior. Mirrors on the two opposing sides carried the colour on infinitely, so the cube felt like it had no walls — like a TARDIS.

A complete contrast to the outside, and a quiet reminder that things aren’t always what they first appear.

The work went on to win the After Dark Award, glowing from within at night and casting a colourful light out onto the beach.

Since then, I’ve slowly released the internal panels — blue, pink, and now finally yellow.

This weekend at the Affordable Art Fair, the yellow panel sold to someone who loves sunrises as much as I do. There were tears from both of us, which says enough.

It’s been part of my studio for a couple of years, so I’ll miss it… but it feels right letting it go to a home where it’ll be properly lived with.

And now, the shell of The Pixel moves into its next chapter for SWELL 2026 for a transformation.

Highlights from the final day of the Brisbane Affordable Art Fair.

Big few days. Lots of chats, new collectors, commissions in the works and some really special moments.

A highlight was selling The Pixel – Yellow — the final artwork from inside my 2023 SWELL sculpture. A pretty emotional send-off for a piece that’s lived in my studio for years, but I couldn’t imagine it going to a better home.

Also had collectors drive from Ballina to Brisbane just to meet me before starting their commission, which was very cool.

Huge thanks to Affordable Art Fair Brisbane 2026, my fellow artists, our amazing support crew, and everyone who stopped by the booth over the weekend. What a ride!!

Hope all the mums had a beautiful Mother’s Day yesterday too.

The remaining artworks can be viewed via the link in my bio — or DM me if you’d like to see what’s available.

Sydney… see you in November 😊
