Lunchtime is just better with music! Jake Higgins put on a great show for the last Wednesday Winter Warmers gig.
Will they return? Only time will tell, but a huge thanks to all the musicians who have performed and to everyone who has come along and shown your support and appreciation.
These gigs are all thanks to Bundaberg Regional Council and the Safe Spaces, Thriving Places initiative.
And once again, huge thanks to the awesome Moncrieff Entertainment Centre crew for sound and production for all of June and July.

GUITAR OF THE WEEK
Chad Morgan OAM not only had arguably the longest career ever in Australian music, he also had a love affair with Martin guitars. And this is the very first one he ever owned and played on stage.
He bought this Martin D-18 in 1962, 2nd hand from a friend when it was only a few months old and it saw stage time in '62 and '63, when he bought his next Martin. He never let this one go though. It has been serviced by Martin technicians throughout its lifetime and is in fantastic shape for its age. The original pickup was removed many years ago and hasn't been replaced. The sustain on this acoustic is unbelievable!
This 1962 Martin D-18 is being sold on behalf of the Morgan family and is the last of Chad's guitars we have for sale. It is certified as genuine by Chad Morgan Jr.
For this week only, it's is reduced from $8,499 to just $7,999.

Thanks so much to 2EZ for jumping in for today's Wednesday Winter Warmers gig when the original act had to cancel!
One more gig to go (for now?....), with Jake Higgins on next Wednesday.
It's all thanks to Bundaberg Regional Council and the Safe Spaces, Thriving Places initiative, and as always, massive props to the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre team for all their stellar work on production.

Shout out to all involved with the Bundaberg Eisteddfod that got underway today and runs through to 29 July.
Part of day 1 was drums and percussion in a number of categories across around 6 hours with so many talented youth players showcasing their skills. Congrats to every participant today, you should all be proud!
Special congrats to 3 Bundy Beatz drummers:
Luke B taking home 3 1st places in 17-19 categories: Drum Kit Solo - Heavy Metal/Heavy Rock, Drum Kit Solo and Drum Kit Solo - Pop Rock
Hamish B scoring a 2nd place in 13-14 Drum Kit Solo - Heavy Metal/Heavy Rock plus a Highly Commended in 13-14 Drum Kit Solo
Bailey W - who only chose and started working on his song, Walking By Myself by Gary Moore, 5 weeks ago - grabbed a 3rd place in 13-14 Drum Kit Solo
I may have said it once or twice. Practice pays off! Awesome work. 😁
