What a weekend at Evolution DanceSport Championships! 💃🕺🏆

A massive thank you to Katusha and her team for putting on a great competition! We had an awesome time and are so proud to come home with some fantastic results!

🥇 Masters 1 Latin Perpetual Trophy
🥉 3rd in New Vogue
🏅 4th in Ballroom

The fields were incredibly strong, probably some of the toughest competition we’ve faced outside of the Australian Championships, so we’re absolutely thrilled with how we went! ❤️

A huge congratulations to our fellow Queensland competitors Wayne & Kaliah on taking out 1st place in New Vogue! 🥇🙌 So great to see our Queensland team doing so well!

Thanks to all our fellow competitors for making it such a great weekend, and to our coaches for all their support and hard work with us. We couldn’t do it without you!

Now it’s back to training, because we’ll be doing it all again in just 2 weeks at the New Zealand Nationals! 🇳🇿 Bring it on! 🔥💃🕺

💃🕺 There’s more to dancing than learning the steps!

Social dancing brings together movement, music, connection, memory and plenty of fun. ❤️

It’s wonderful to see research highlighting the potential benefits of social dancing for brain health and healthy ageing.

And honestly… we think dancing is a pretty great way to spend an hour! 😉

Come along, meet some people, learn something new and enjoy the music.

✨ Keep moving. Keep connecting. Keep dancing. ✨
