This will be a learning experience 👏

This native hibiscus was cut this morning, the outer bark removed and will now soak for a few weeks.
I’m hoping ( if all goes to plan 😂) I will end up with some beautiful baste which should become a strong fibre to weave with.
I missed all the “ before pics“ but will try to keep up with progression pics
