Our fourth and final performance for this festive season ❤️✨🎄

We’re bringing Christmas in the Chapel closer to home with a special Childers performance! 🎄

Join us on Sunday 21 December 2025 at 4pm at Sacred Heart Church for an afternoon of beautiful Christmas music featuring three incredible vocalists:

⭐ Suellen Cusack – renowned for her powerful, emotive soprano and stunning stage presence
⭐ Jessica Savage – a versatile and expressive performer with a gift for storytelling through song
⭐ Natalie Sweetapple – a Queensland Conservatorium–trained vocalist who’s warm, sparkling vocals light up every stage

Our cast and crew have had a wonderful few days away performing Christmas in the Chapel in Gladstone, Mackay and Christmas in the Cathedral in Rockhampton.

Thank you to everyone who attended and shared in the spirit of Christmas.

We said farewell to our incredible tenor, Daniel Szesiong Todd and we welcome back the lovely Natalie Sweetapple for our final destination this Sunday 21st at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Childers.

Come and join with us in song and celebrate this special Christmas season with Christmas in the Chapel.

Our principal performer for ‘Christmas in the Chapel & Cathedral’, Suellen Cusack , will be performing live with Damien Leith on Sunrise this Saturday at 8.40am QLD time. They will be performing their new single ‘Silent Night’ 🎄✨❤️

Suellen has performed alongside some of Australia’s most respected classical crossover and musical theatre artists including Mark Vincent, Marina Prior & David Hobson. She has also achieved remarkable solo success, with her albums Whisper of Angels and The Irish Songbook both reaching #1 on the ARIA Classical Crossover Chart.

Despite a busy schedule of solo tours and special guest appearances, Suellen always makes time for this cherished event — one that builds community spirit and inspires new family Christmas traditions.

Her latest release, Silent Night with Damien Leith, offers a beautiful glimpse of the artistry and festive joy awaiting audiences at Christmas in the Chapel & Cathedral 2025 🎄❤️

Meet Jessica Savage – Performing in Christmas in the Chapel & the Cathedral 2025!

Returning once again to the Chapel stage, allow us to reintroduce Jessica Savage as both a performer and a driving creative force behind Christmas in the Chapel.
Jessica is a contemporary music theatre specialist, with training at the Queensland Conservatorium and New York Film Academy, and stage credits in professional productions across New York City.

Since returning home to Bundaberg, Jessica has grown into one of the familiar faces shaping local music — not only as a performer and a Creative Director of Saint Stella Presents, but also as a dedicated vocal coach, mentoring the next generation of singers through her studio, Jessica Savage :: Vocal Coach.

This Christmas, Jessica brings her passion and creativity back to the Chapel stage, ensuring Christmas in the Chapel & Cathedral 2025 will be a celebration filled with joy, tradition, and unforgettable music.

Meet Kyle Myers – Performing in Christmas in the Chapel & the Cathedral 2025!

We are delighted to welcome Kyle, Pipe Major of the Bundaberg Caledonian Pipe Band, to this year’s Christmas in the Chapel.

Kyle has led the band for more than 20 years, bringing the sound of the pipes to local events across the region. He is deeply involved in RSL remembrance days and community commemorations, and is known for his downtoearth style and dedication to keeping pipe band music alive in Bundaberg.

This Christmas, Kyle looks forward to sharing the majestic sound of the pipes and his passion for tradition as part of our festive celebration.🎶
