What a massive day for the Smithies team!

Yesterday morning, we were proudly serving up smiles at RAD Rolled Ice Cream then last night we had the privilege of volunteering our DJ and karaoke services for Damians journey and fight with MND .

The night was nothing short of incredible. The community came together in force to support Damian, raise awareness for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), and create an atmosphere filled with laughter, music, and genuine community spirit.

A special thank you goes to Collis Care for their incredibly generous donation of $500 to me. It was completely unexpected and truly appreciated. Your support means more than words can express.

An even bigger thank you goes to everyone who donated throughout the campaign and event. Thanks to your generosity, an incredible $8,000 has been raised to support Damian and help continue the fight against MND. Every donation, no matter the size, has made a real difference.

To everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, sang a song, danced, or simply showed up to support Damian and his family – thank you. The energy in the room was amazing, and it’s safe to say everyone had an absolute ball!

At Smithies Karaoke and DJ Hire, we believe in giving back to our community whenever we can, and being part of such a meaningful event was an honour.

Together, we’re raising awareness, supporting research, and showing that no one fights MND alone.
