Exciting News

The Bundaberg Combined Ballet Association will be giving out 4 x scholarships to the 2027 In2Dance workshops.

To be considered for an In2Dance scholarship, students are
required to demonstrate a consistently high level of commitment
and dedication to their classes, often going above and beyond
expectations. While competition results can reflect progress, they
are not the sole determining factor, and students may not always
place or win.

Nominations can be forwarded by anyone within the dance
community, studio or self-nomination for a student who truly
represents what dance is about – showing passion, respect, effort
and a positive attitude. The scholarship ultimately recognises those
who contribute meaningfully to the dance community and embody
the spirit of dance.

Nominations will close 12 September.

The BCBA sends our deepest condolences to Juliette Verne’s (Jet) family and friends. Jet was one of our amazing choreographers for the In2Dance workshop many years ago and she also adjudicated the Festival of Dance. She was a dynamic force in the dance world. RIP 💙
