Kaya moort!

I’ve just created a youtube channel for Noombat. Nothing is on there yet but I am looking at creating educational videos that can give insights into schools and business so they can see first hand what I do.

I am looking at doing a little introductory video soon… but thats a future project- stay tuned!

🌿Adult open mic night at Froth Craft Bunbury 🌿

Tonight was such a good turnout! Despite all of the nerves I gained the courage to go up on stage for the fun of it and to show off how proud I am of my culture.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the energies from everyone who sat, listened, and sang along and will definitely do it again, Moorditj!

If anyone is in town, please go visit the Froth, it has amazing hospitality, and the staff are frothtacular! 🍻

🌿 Update! 🌿

I’ve got a new and improved brochure! You’ll notice the brand elements coming through with earthy tones, along with yellow, green, and touches of ochre.

I’ve updated the “About Me” section, included my email (still being finalised), and added a website link, which is currently in development.

On the back of the brochure, I’ve featured three of my services with added details, along with a “School Curriculum Link” to help show which services are best suited for schools.

The new branding elements have come together beautifully thanks to Maddie from Jalani Media. I’m really happy with how it’s turned out and this will be my brochure design for a while.

As my journey started, I’ve met some amazing friends and family along the way. Telicia from Kwobidak Wirin is one of those beautiful people.

Back in 2024, Telicia invited me out to play the didgeridoo for the opening of their yarning circle at Donnybrook Primary School. It was a beautiful experience, with students walking through a smoking ceremony led by Pop Karim Khan.

This photo of me and Telicia represents the love and appreciation us Noongars have for one another, always giving moort a helping hand.

I just want to say a big thank you for supporting me on my journey and giving me the opportunity to share my work. Now I’d like to share a bit about Kwobidak Wirin, Telicia’s own business.

Kwobidak Wirin creates beautiful crafts, including hat burning workshops where community can come together and create their own artwork. She also offers catering for events, which is an amazing service, so make sure you check out her work.

I’m proud to support other emerging Noongar businesses. Much love to everyone out there starting their journey

I am honoured to share a moment from Manea Senior College, bringing the didgeridoo into the classroom. Sharing culture, sound and story with the next generation.
