ARTIST OPPORTUNITY / Shop at BRAG
Shop at BRAG is a retail space showcasing work by selected independent artists and makers. Rather than choosing individual pieces, we partner with artists whose practices, perspectives, and quality of work align with the gallery's vision.
BRAG is seeking expressions of interest from new and emerging artists with a strong connection to Bunbury or the South West to contribute to the Shop for a 12-month period.

HOW TO APPLY
Complete the EOI form (located on our website), attach a short bio/CV relating to your arts practice and tell us why you would be a good fit for the Shop at BRAG.
Applications to be completed online by 30 June 2026.
EOIs will be assessed by a BRAG selection panel to ensure fairness, quality and a diversity of practices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• High quality 2D works - maximum size 50cm x 50cm
• High quality 3D works - maximum size 20cm x 20cm x 20cm
• Professionally presented (framed or gallery-quality canvas) works of a high standard of finish and artistic resolution, suitable for sale within a professional gallery setting.
• Priced under $500
• Suitable for immediate sale and collection
Products in all mediums will be considered, however the Shop has limited suitability for very heavy products. Smaller, affordable works that appeal to the tourism market are also encouraged.

Nichole Lubcke's 'Hold Me' is a collection of 100 tiny porcelain vessels, each one different, each one formed through slow, repetitive process that embeds touch into the work itself. For Nichole, the act of making is tender and deeply personal.

A year in two parts. A mere array of shapes and colours.

Gisela Züchner-Mogall took over 2,000 photos in 2025. Then she dismantled them.
Each photograph is stripped back to a thin stripe of colour, the image dissolved, the year reassembled as pure form.

SWB26 / The Memory of Trees
The South West Biennial extends across six partner venues throughout the south western regions, and over the weekend, Heloise Roberts and Moira Fearby's 'The Memory of Trees' opens at the Margaret River HEART - Nala Bardip Mia.

Extending on their work showcased in the South West Survey, the exhibition traces entangled geographies, where place becomes a site of shared belonging that invites viewers to remember what is precious, what is worth protecting, and to sit with the thought of losing it.

Crafted from drawn and painted plywood tiles, the artists' collaborative landscapes, with their modular construction, allow for both cohesion and dissonance, mirroring how collective and individual experiences of place diverge and merge.

28 May – 26 June 2026
Mezzanine Gallery, Margaret River HEART
