Hello to all our followers. My name is Ashton (you will know me as Lilith) I am the director of SWBC, I am the one responding to your comments and enquiries, posting updates, teaching the classes, producing the shows, performing etc etc. It's a one-woman band. Unfortunately, I have had some issues with my health that have not allowed me to continue to run SWBC the way I want. Which is disappointing as I know so many of you are excited about burlesque being in the South West. I keep hoping that things will get better and keep giving rough timeframes for when classes will begin again but it is time to say I don't know when that will be. SWBC is not going away, just at the moment I am living in Perth close to family and friends so that I can get my life back on track and I don't have anyone down there who can run things for me in my absence. I just wanted to thank you all for your continued support and your patience. Keep your fingers crossed that some day soon SWBC will be back bigger and better than ever. In the meantime, for your vintage fix pop over and support The Sou'West Vintage Fest to keep up to date with their INCREDIBLE annual and ever-growing event. Can you believe it's been 2 years since this show!? Who was lucky enough to catch the magic? We're thinking it's probably time for another one, do you agree!? Like this post if you'd like to see some more shimmy and glitter.

Hi everyone! We've been receiving a few enquiries lately in regards to lessons. We were talking about bringing them back in the later half of this year, but unfortuntely life got in the way and we were unable to arrange anything. We really appreciate all of the interest and the support we have had over the last few years and wanted to thank you for sticking it out. There are no plans set in stone as yet BUT (and this is just between you and me) the new year is upon us and you never know what a new year can bring....hmmm....mysterious, you say? Guess you'll just have to wait and see...but we promise you'll be the first to know!!!

Western Australia really took it to Darwin! Congratulations to Trash Valentine on taking out Mr Boylesque Australia 2016, to Sugar Du Joure for winning the title of First Runner Up Miss Burlesque Australia and Miss Showgirl Couture, and to The Sugar Duchess for Miss Elegance and Miss Revival. Go Team! You did us all proud!!

Tonight is the Miss Burlesque Australia 2016 Grand Final, being held in Darwin. How amazing do all the finalists (and last year's winner) look!? A lot of blood, sweat, tears and glitter goes into this competition, so we wanted to wish them all good luck, but we will secretly be cheering for the WA competitors. Our magnificent state is being represented by burly queens Miss Burlesque WA Sugar Du Joure and wildcard Miss Burlesque Perth The Sugar Duchess, and burly babe Mr Boylesque WA Trash Valentine. We'll keep you updated on the results xx
