The Barbary Coast pirate ship "Rebound" hell bent on raising the roof, docked in the Koombana Cove on Friday. Pouring out from the dank holds of this legendary vessel was a motley crew armed to the teeth with guitars and drums bend on all sorts of mischief.
Fortunately the ale house was packed to the gunnels with equally devious characters of ill repute armed with knives, sword and even a parrot. Didn't hear a word from the parrot all night so I guess he was stuffed from the long voyage.
Not so the Rebound gang of four, they belted out the same level of mayhem and mischief that make them "legends" of the floor, despite sounding horribly hoarse...arrr...arrr....!
Despite the malevolent violence, our impeccable dressed salty sailors lasted the night and "walked the dance floor" all night. It was a very memorable and salty Pirate Party. No rum rations, no keel hauling: just a load of friends having fun.
