Massive appreciation post!!!
Today I had the pleasure of coordinating the stage and artists at the East Gippsland Field Days.
Firstly.. a huge thank you to Sue-Ellen Latham of Seventy Event Management for the opportunity, with the enormity of managing the Field Days I was happy I was able to have (hopefully) given you one aspect of the day you didn’t have to think too much about 😄
Huge thank you to Donna Davies for photos, and for your never ending support of not just Bruthen Music but support and encouragement of all local artists and the local music scene in general. You give so much 🙏
To my righthand man Bernard Moss for a great job on live sound, setup and pack down and for braving the elements in the cold and wet all day to ensure all artists had the best possible sound on stage and out front, thank you for a job well done!
Thanks to James Fowkes (IO drummer) ..the man with the Van 😆 for transporting equipment and hard work assisting with the set up and pack down as well.
Thank you to the artists- Dane Nichols, Olivia Lay, Mike Elrington, Todd Cook and IO (Todd and James Fowkes) and G who filled in on Friday morning at short notice!
All performed brilliantly under the windy/rainy/cold conditions in such a professional manner and with great spirits! Most impressive.
And a big thank you to those that came to support the performers!!
We are blessed to have such amazing talent in the area and it is vital to the scene that you get out to watch and support live music!

I’m really excited to be playing at the Recovery Ride in Bruthen this Saturday, April 17.

There will be a REAL LIFE stage set up on Bruthen Green. We haven’t had music and festivities in the street since Bruthen Blues way back in February 2019. 27 MONTHS!! The Bairnsdale Secondary band will be playing from 11am, I will be on at 12 then The Electric Empire will rock out from 1pm. There is a Morning bike ride for all ages and abilities, food trucks, market and entertainment for the kids. It should be a great day.

A huge thank you to www.foodbank.org.au for bringing entertainment, new people and energy into town. It has been a rough couple of years for our town so for people out-side of the area to think of us, is absolutely heartwarming. The music and events world has also been devastated over recent times and although restrictions have eased it’s still not back into full swing. So, to have an event like this come to town really means a lot. Hope to see you there. Cheers, Todd.

We are back in action!
Bruthen Music will be back to normal trading tomorrow Wednesday 15th January. Look forward to catching up with all my music students, recording clients, customers and music family! Thank you all so much for your support :-)

The mighty “Steakfaced” back in the Studio! Nothing like some quality Punk Rock to brighten up the day! After a run of winter gigs Steakfaced are hard at work recording their full length album!!!
