To walk away with the $1000 cash prize "Mean Gene The Chilli Eating Machine" made her way through an insane amount of pain totalling 61 Carolina Reaper, 12 Ghost Chilli, 10 Trinidad Scorpion, 8 Habanero, 4 Jalapeno, 2 Cayenne. 2 Trinidad Scorpion chicken wings, The worlds hottest corn chips, 3 Ghost chilli vodka shots, 2 shots & some Satans Spit capsaicin extract spray just for fun!! 🥵🥵🥵 Incredible effort 💯

That a wrap on the 11th Annual Melbourne Chilli Championship, & what a show our contestants put on! In a final round that went on for 1 hour 20 minutes we finally crowned our new 🏆 Champ 🏆 MEAN GENE THE CHILLI EATING MACHINE 🙌 2nd place went to Vince Mantovani & 3rd place Justin Rummel. We lost count of how many Reapers they consumed but this was an epic effort by Gene & Vince who pushed each other right to the last final speed eaing round (the first time we've had to introduce a speed round to settle the final otherwise we'd probably still be there now!)
