Our incredible Elevate Musical Theatre students sound absolutely beautiful rehearsing A Million Dreams under the vocal direction of the wonderful Lucy O’Brien. Through focused vocal training, ensemble work and performance development, these young artists continue to grow in confidence, technique and storytelling.

FREQUENCY - Back in June, our Contemporary second and third years premiered FREQUENCY, an original work by Max Burgess, as part of our MIDPOINT ‘26 season.

A work that “catapults you into a moving image”, FREQUENCY is a visceral collision of movement, energy and connection. Here’s an excerpt from the work in motion.

Our Contemporary Course is built around experiences like this. Across three years, our dancers are immersed in contemporary practice, working closely with established choreographers and industry professionals to experience a diverse range of processes, movement languages and creative perspectives.

We loved watching our emerging artists embrace Max’s process and bring FREQUENCY to life on stage.

Across multiple evenings, The Artists brings together Transit Dance’s High School Academy, Pre-Professional Contemporary, Performing Arts and Musical Theatre programs for a vibrant celebration of creativity, individuality and performance.

Experience self-devised solos, original ensemble works, workshop presentations and brand-new choreography, created by our emerging artists alongside Transit’s leading creative staff.
