hi.i'm a 56 year old exhibited assemblage artist who'd love to be part of the honeymoon crew-see samples of my work at
Gian Manik at The Honeymoon Suite / Melbourne, Australia
"A viewer does not see the material for what it is, rather we are only given a certain amount of information in the final image from which we can decipher what it is we are looking at. The materials are very present, but the resulting photographic works are also representations of what was there that no longer exists after the image is taken."
Charlotte Cornish describes LYDIA WEGNER's work currently on view at The Honeymoon Suite. The exhibition 'Perceptual Abstraction' continues until 1 July 2017.

"There was some pleasure to be drawn from the tidy monogamous couplings, which were spread across the gallery and office spaces, sometimes together, sometimes apart."
Toby Fehily reviewed the The Honeymoon Suite's inaugural exhibition, 'Rose coloured glass', which was on display in Brunswick earlier this year.
NEW KID ON THE BLOCK | A great profile on ACF artist The Honeymoon Suite. Gallery Director Charlotte Cornish tells ID Collective about the ambitious new not-for-profit space that gives 100% of the sale to the artist. Pretty awesome, right?
