I’ve always been that way - when I was a kid I remember being so scared of going to bed at night that I’d always have to listen to a story via a tape or CD by my bed.

From then I wanted to tell my own stories - starting with short written stories from the wild imagination of an 8-year-old boy. Unwieldy tales of possessed underwear and dinner plates that could alter time and space.

From there, my mates and I would use any opportunity to write scripts and shoot short films about good vs evil - complete with Austin Powers level hilarity.

I knew this is what I was going to do with my life, I was going to tell stories.

As a way of dealing with my own insecurities and fears as much as anything else.

Flash forward around 15 years to 2014 and I’m working in a call center after finishing my Media Degree 2 years earlier.

I wasn’t telling stories.

Instead, I was selling raffle tickets to AFL Club members over the phone.

It was around this time that my father's parents both passed away, leaving a small inheritance to each of their grandchildren with one directive - put it towards something that will strengthen your future.

With that, I bought my first camera and AWS Productions was born. A vessel for me to tell stories was given life.

So here we are 5 years later and I want to tell more stories. More than ever before.

Here’s where I need your help - I want to tell your story.

I want to tell your neighbor's story, I want to tell his dog's story.
