Our new baby “Sola en la arena” is finally out on all platforms 🚀
It’s been such a journey! We are so excited to finally share this work that we have been crafting for about 3 years, started during Covid, recorded in between lockdowns here in Melbourne at Echidna Studios and at Cristian Saavedra’s house.
We love this track (is our band’s favourite ☺️) and we are sure you will love it too!

Happy new release day to on their new track "Etherealist"! The track was produced by .j.marquez and Adrian Hearn and features a unique blend of the sublime strings of the Chinese Conservatory of Traditional Music with the urban attitude of Beijing trip-hop rapper Iceganga. It paints a sonic picture of the historic dialogue between China and the United States in 1972. It's been a minute since I've released something but this is more than a song. It's my public declaration and dedication to the girl who not only took a chance on me but said yes to being my forever date. God is great hey!

"We have lived in Darebin for 10 years, and we are happy to see live music events, especially in the Preston Market.

We felt so welcome in the Preston Market, a lot of people stopped to listen to the band and watch the performance, asking questions about where we are from and about the instruments.

The songs we played were super relaxed, acoustic-style fitting the market creating a nice atmosphere for us to play comfortably and feel welcome.”

Here’s a preview of the fiery artists’s performances 🔥captured at the iconic



The newest season of UpClose takes place in Darebin and features amazing local artists: Karina Lehman (Chile), Camille El Feghali (Lebanon), Sarita McHarg (India), and The New Monos (Argentina).

Their music performances were filmed at Preston Market where aromas, languages, and cultures from all around the world meet.

Harmonic Whale’s production team did a fantastic job capturing 2 songs per artist with a total of 8 music videos which will be released weekly from 16 March 2022 to celebrate Harmony Week.

The whale is proud to support Ahead of the Curve workshops.

Demystifying Music Production

Today we live in a world of laptops, beat-makers and bedroom studios. Technology has made accessible all the tools needed so that anyone can become a music producer.



The path to becoming a producer is no longer a linear path, if you have the calling this is the workshop for you.



In this workshop, Daniel Jauregui, Latin Grammy award-winning musician, producer, composer, and director of music studio Harmonic Whale, will be opening windows into music production. Daniel will run through how to begin, working with artists, and finalising the production of a song, while demystifying music production processes by centering cultural protocol and practice.



This workshop is for young and emerging artists of colour living around Melbourne.
