FROM INDIVIDUAL STORIES TO A SHARED VISION. ✨

Week 3 was about bringing ideas together.

Our participants began shaping a shared vision for the November public outcome, contributing their perspectives and ideas towards a participatory exhibition exploring identity, culture and belonging.

Together, they explored how culture can be experienced, not just through what we see, but through stories, objects, sounds, movement, memories, activities and participation.

As arts workers, they are not only learning how to produce an exhibition or a performance, but how to create experiences that invite people in, encourage connection and make space for different cultural perspectives.

From individual reflection to collective creation, the exhibition is beginning to take shape. 🌱

One shared vision. Many identities. A space for everyone to participate.

📍Dancehouse Thank you for hosting us.

WHO WE ARE SHAPES WHAT WE CREATE.

Meet three of the creative practitioners walking alongside our 2026 Incubator participants.

Our cultural identities, histories, communities and lived experiences shape how we see the world and how we create, collaborate and tell stories.

Understanding who we are and what we bring into the room is part of the creative practice too.

Our practitioners bring their knowledge and experiences, and our participants bring theirs. The learning goes both ways.
