Creativity doesn’t have to be hard, doesn’t have to be mastered to be enjoyed, doesn’t have to be something you’re “not” for the rest of your life. Literally anyone can wet a paintbrush, dip it in a pot and touch some paper…. & now look, you painted!!

BTS of my little ceramics coming out of their glaze firing 🫶🏻

5 things I always get asked about this process:
✨ yes, we make every single palette and each little paint pot from clay in the studio
🤍 clay is fired twice before it is ceramic once to 1000c and then it’s glazed (again every single one by hand) and then fired to more than 1200c and then it can finally be filled with paint for you!
🍓 we use community firing services (supporting other small local business!) to fire all our ceramics does most of it!
🏋🏻 at the moment we make anywhere from 3-10kg of paint pots in a week just to keep up with you babes!
⏳ start to finish a batch of ceramics usually takes 4-6 weeks. This includes time to carefully make it from clay, then allow it to dry, then take it to the kiln for the first firing, then glaze it, then take it back to fire again and then pick it up

I love our bespoke ceramics. Especially this signature tan speckled we fill all our single colours into. It just brings me so much joy to not only be plastic free, but to get to use such a beautiful medium while we fulfil that commitment 🕯️
