📢🤘 LIVE MUSIC IS BACK AT WHOLE LOTTA LOVE 🤘📢

With the lifting of restrictions to allow seated concerts at venues in Vic from June 22nd, we didn't think that we would be able to do it. The 1 person per 4sqm rule and seating configuration limits how many people we can have in the venue to 14 maximum (depending on size of groups etc).

14 people isn't a lot... it's not enough to keep us going like we used to and we were sure that we couldn't make the numbers work... Specially with the mounting debt we already have from the lockdown, ongoing overheads, and a plethora of expenses that just never seem to stop. We didn't think live music was going to be an option for us until we could do full capacity gigs... if we could last that long that is.

But then this has happened...

Kacey Scotch Knoodle from DickLaser and Carlos Narcata from Australian Kingswood Factory and I Have A Goat approached us and said they wanted to play. And not just play (to basically no audience), they wanted to play and try and drink us dry!!! All to just help us try and make a bit of a dint in our debt. Within minutes they had organised other fu***ng generous and amazing bands and musos who were happy to help out as well... F**k I love this scene!

And they aren't the only ones.. Planet of the 8s reached out weeks ago with offers of help, as did Traumaboys, The Murderballs and so many others. We've even had our favourite local business EAST BRUNSWICK TATTOOS reach out. I can't name all of you, but please know that this has absolutely kept us going, just knowing that you were all there ready to help us when it was possible.

So we now have two ACTUAL GIGS planned for next weekend.

Honestly this has been so tough on us that there have been days upon days where we have thought of giving up... and don't get me wrong, we are so far from getting out of the woods it's not funny, but at least if we are going to go, we are going to go out fighting xx
