Escape or Die

I have mixed feelings about announcing the closure of Escape or Die on the 31st March this year, a little indie horror room nestled in the side streets of Brunswick East.

The room was first created by Evan Raif and since 2022, the team from Ukiyo has had the honour of continuing on from his vision and adding our own unique flair. It is so different to all our other rooms and has filled a creative void within our team, particularly for those of us who are fans the campy horror genre.

Thanks to those of you who have played over the years! On behalf of the Escape or Die team, the scaring pleasure is all ours. Maybe we'll cross paths again...in another indie side project 😉

Anyone who is seeking a gem of an Escape Room would do well to head down to Geelong and try Mayhem Manor at Containophobia. The detail in the set design coupled with theatrical puzzles sets this room apart. Keep an eye out on their new room, Carnivorous, that will be released soon too!
