What an amazing week?! Children as young as seven joining our Zentangle Class this week! This coming week is watercolour blow-painting with silhouhette masking. Did you ever read Cry me a river? It was probably the most artistically inspiring book i ever read as a child and we will recreate these in class this week. Children are only $20 for a casual class $15 for extra siblings. Young Artist Spotlight 🤩 We love seeing our young artists challenge themselves and try new techniques.

This fantastic Zentangle Monogram 👀 was created by one of our After School Art Program students. The attention to detail, creative pattern making, and patience shown throughout the project is something to be proud of. 🙌

Zentangle is more than just drawing patterns. It helps students develop:
• Creative confidence
• Focus and concentration
• Problem-solving skills
• Fine motor control
• Personal artistic style

Did You Know?

UV paint is invisible under normal light but glows brilliantly under ultraviolet (blacklight) light.

Artists use UV paints to create hidden images, glowing effects, and interactive artworks that transform when the lights go out.

Many marine animals, insects, and even some flowers naturally reflect ultraviolet light, revealing colours and patterns that humans cannot normally see.

At Artz Academy, we love exploring UV paint in sculpture, mixed media, and creative installations because it adds a whole new dimension to artwork.
