אירוע הנעילה של מנופים-אמנות עכשווית בירושלים - Manofim

סינמטק ירושלים - The Jerusalem Cinematheque, אולם 3

צירופים היא סדרה של סינמה בּלאש בה אמנים, מוסיקאים, יוצרים ואנשי דעת בוחרים סצנות מתוך ההיסטוריה של הקולנוע ומצמדים לה אלמנט נוסף — באופן המזכיר התאמת יין לאוכל. צירופים מוצג כפרפורמנס אימפרוביזורי רב משתתפים. צירופים חושף לא רק רגעים מופלאים מתולדות הקולנוע, אלא גם תהליכי חשיבה יצירתיים של מגוון יוצרים ויוצרות.

טיפולוגיות: דם, יזע ודמעות

טיפולוגיות היא סדרה של סינמה בּלאש בה קבוצה של משתתפים מוזמנים מרכיבים באופן קולקטיבי רצף קולנועי אסוציאטיבי מסצנות קיימות. ב-דם, יזע ודמעות המשתתפים מפנים עין בוחנת לחלקיקים האלמנטריים של סוגה קולנועית. הרצף שהם יוצרים יחדיו מורכב משלוש קטגריות של סצנות קולנועיות. המשתתפים נתבקשו לבחור סצנות המעניקות פרשנות לביטוי ״דם יזע ודמעות״. הסרט הנוצר מהן הופך למעין תקציר של הקולנוע כולו: סצנות קרב (דם), סצנות סקס (יזע) וסצנות בכי (דמעות). הנזילות בין הקטגוריות בוראת יצירה חדשה שבה מכות, צרחות ומין מתערבבים זה בזה והופכים לחגיגה קולנועית חדשה.

מנופים-אמנות עכשווית בירושלים - Manofim

Deep Dive is a performative screening of a newly uncovered, never-before seen excerpt from the Israeli Film Archive (The Nathan Axelrod Newsreel Collection at the Jerusalem Cinematheque). The event focuses on a short cinematic object filmed in British Mandate Palestine in the 1920s, giving it attention that it never received. During the screening, artists, musicians and scholars respond to the film fragment and shed light on the historical moment, illuminating hidden elements. The short excerpt will be screened repeatedly throughout the event, gaining layers of knowledge and interpretation with each iteration, so that by the end of the event – without anything changing in the footage itself – the film will be experienced in an entirely new way.

צלילת עומק
הקרנה פרפורמטיבית בשיתוף הארכיון הישראלי לסרטים

דרך חברון 11, ירושלים

צלילת עומק היא הקרנה פרפורמטיבית של קטע קולנוע קצר מסרט שמעולם הושלם. הצילומים נשמרו באוסף נתן אקסלרוד (הארכיון הישראלי לסרטים – סינמטק ירושלים) ויוצגו לראשונה לקהל מאז צולמו לפני 92 שנים. האירוע מפנה לפרגמנט קולנועי משנות ה-20' את תשומת הלב שלה הוא מעולם לא זכה. אמנים, מוזיקאים ואנשי דעת מאירים את הסרט ההיסטורי במהלך ההקרנה ומאירים רבדים הנסתרים מהעין. הקטע הקצר יוקרן שוב ושוב במהלך האירוע, כך ששכבות חדשות של ידע ופרשנות יתגלו עם כל צפיה. בסיום האירוע יתפס הקטע הקצר באופן חדש לגמרי – מבלי שישתנה דבר בסרטון עצמו.

Plot is a curated video art program that examines narrative-constructing mechanisms. The program centers around the double meaning of the word “plot” and looks at the formulation of a story as a “conspiracy” between the storyteller and the viewer. The program includes historical and contemporary video art and outlines a wide range of approaches to the nature and power of narrative.

Cinema Balash is a screening space in New York dedicated to experiments with light, sound, projection, screens and the moving image in all their various forms. It was founded and is run by the artist Rotem Linial. Cinema Balash believes in the liveness of the film event and that collective viewing is an essential, unique (and endangered) experience. Cinema Balash offers artists a place to present and curate moving image and time- or screen-based works and contextualize them as they think best. It offers the license of a studio without reneging on the distinctive social experience of the cinema.

As part of Manofim, Cinema Balash will move to Jerusalem for four events: three experimental screenings at the Jerusalem Cinematheque and a curated video program in the Jerusalem Art Conference at The Van Leer Institute.
