2Dry FM was the first FM radio station established in Broken Hill in the early 1990s. The radio station has been located at many sites around Broken Hill, but has been resident at the Centre for the Community (200 Beryl Street) for the last 6 years. It is a community radio station that provides opportunities for Broken Hill residents to operate a radio station and provide an alternative source of

radio entertainment to the community. The radio station is a 100% volunteer organization. We operate under the Community Broadcast Association of Australia (CBAA).

2Dry FM is the only locally owned and managed radio station in Broken Hill. It is owned by the community. Our main source of income is through sponsorship. The funds that are raised are used for running costs, maintenance and renewal of equipment. As a community radio station we provide opportunities for local community groups to promote their services and activities at no cost! 2Dry FM provides low cost advertising for local business! Thank you to social futures and the Broken Hill City Council for hosting a fabulous Far West Services Expo at the Civic Centre last Saturday.

A fantastic morning was had by all and it was great to share air-time with so many wonderful people, and the coffee and doughnuts did not disappoint!

Get ready Broken Hill, 2DRY FM will be live on-air to broadcast West vs North from Jubilee Oval this Saturday to bring this Old Timers Weekend game to you with a sprinkle of our signature flare!

We'll be kicking off with the Women's at 11:25am and then back at 2:30pm for the Seniors A Grade with Collingwood past player and guest Oleg Markov playing for the West Robins, it's sure to be a spectacular game you don't want to miss!

What a truly fabulous day with the wonderful ladies of the CWA at their 'Celebrating Our Mums' Morning Tea & Lunch. We would like to say a huge thanks to the several incredible women who shared some really lovely stories on-air about what Mothers' Day means to them. 🥰

Thanks also to everyone who came out to enjoy some yummy homemade treats with a hot cuppa to warm us up on this chilly day and show support for the amazing things the CWA continue to do for our community!
