Our priority is always on our patrons, team, contractors and artists health and safety at any event.

As you may be aware the federal government has announced additional restrictions on event capacity in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Non essential indoor gatherings of over 100 people will be banned as of today with no firm end date in sight.

In addition, bans on interstate travel and domestic air travel are expected to occur.

This leaves us in a position where we cannot run Refraction on our original date.

While we are disappointed to not be proceeding in May, health, safety and community need to come first.

With that said we are tentatively looking at the the 22nd of August as a revised date. This will be dependent on the Covid situation at the time however we are hoping to have a view on direction by late May/early June. We plan to still run as a fundraiser for the same three charities. We will communicate any new events through our page, make sure to follow us to stay up to date.

In the interim all purchased tickets will be refunded through Eventbrite.

We hope you all stay safe, happy and healthy over the coming months.

Final day of online ticket sales for Refraction. We've got 32 left till we hit capacity, who wants them?

We've also got a couple of handy tips for the weekend as well, give them a read so that you're prepped for maximum party enjoyment :)

Venue:

This will be the first event held at RAW Studios of this kind. We know your all a bunch of top notch legends and will treat the venue with the utmost respect. We're looking forward to making this a long term home for events in the future so make sure you let the bar staff know just how much you love the place.

The venue is licensed, this means no BYO and no containers/water bottles to be brought in. We'll have water and biodegradable cups available for all the stay super hydrated.

Transport:

The venue is a 5 - 10 minute walk from Moorooka station and is also serviced by the 100 and 116 buses along Ipswich Road. There is limited parking on the street surrounding the venue and no parking will be available onsite. If you're planning to drive we'd recommend doing so early to secure a park and as always, make sure you're safe to drive both to and from the event.

Doors:

Doors open at 11:30, make sure you get in nice and early to soak in all the goodness.

First Aid:

Both our crew and security are able to assist in a first aid situation. If you need any help look for our logo or the security team and we'll get you taken care of.

EFTPOS:

The bar will have EFTPOS however cash out will not be available and there is no ATM on site. Make sure to bring along some physical dollarydoos if you're needing them.

Food:

Southern Fried Grillhouse and the Wandering Italian will be serving up delicious feasts for us all day. Make sure to keep your bellies full while having a boogie, it helps to keep up that energy.

Last but not least, look out for your mates! If someone is down or looks off over the weekend don't hesitate to reach out to us or our security team. If at any point you feel unsafe please let us know. We're all here to help and want you to have the best possible weekend you can while staying safe
