🎬 AUSTRALIAN PREMIERE AT MIFF

Daricheh Cinema is proud to present the Australian Premiere of INSIDE AMIR at the 74th Melbourne International Film Festival.

As the film’s Australian distributor, we are delighted to bring Amir Azizi’s acclaimed new film to audiences across Australia.

At a moment when Iran is so often seen only through images of war and political headlines, INSIDE AMIR offers something urgently human: an intimate and authentic portrait of a young man and his generation in contemporary Tehran—their friendships, memories, love, grief and the difficult choice between staying and leaving.

Winner of the GdA Director’s Award at the Venice International Film Festival 2025, the film follows Amir as he cycles through Tehran while confronting a life-changing decision: whether to leave the city he loves and join his girlfriend in Italy, or remain connected to the people, memories and streets that have shaped him.
