It turns out that this sea-side city in the South of France, famous for the Cannes film festival, is a little playground for street photography.

Fun memories from 2 great workshop groups. I'm certainly missing the incredible food and blue skies of Lisbon right now.

Photos by my 1st Lisbon workshop group last week. I always encourage people to be playful on the street. I think it's the best way to tap into one's creativity and curiosity. Plus it makes the experience more fun.

I'm really impressed with what this group achieved and the range of different street themes and techniques they played with. Especially as some of them were trying street photography for the very first time. Selecting only one photo to share from each of them was tough (you should see the quality of their top 10 selection).

Today, I'm excited to announce my next 3 day Street Photography workshop in......Rome!!

This will be the second time I'm running a workshop in Rome, and it's for a good reason - Rome is one of the best street photography playgrounds in Europe! Here the ancient wonders like the Colosseum and the Roman Forum harmoniously blend with the vibrant charm of its bustling streets and lively piazzas. With a huge range of fascinating characters, amazing light and interesting historic backdrops, there is so much to play with.

My workshops are limited to 6 attendees so that I can maximise the amount of 1-2-1 guidance and critique I can offer you. The hours are long and you will be pushed in order to maximise the amount you develop your photography skills and the experience as a whole.

In addition, during our street photography adventure on the cobbled streets, we’ll take little intervals to enjoy the tasty culinary treats this city has to offer. It is no exaggeration that Rome is home to some of the very best ice-cream, pizza and coffee in the world.

As an added bonus, April has been voted one of the best times of the year to visit Rome, thanks to its comfortably warm weather and fewer crowds of tourists.
