I’m never ready for you to be over
It’s not that I’m not excited for springtime
I just always feel like I’m not ready for the cozy months to end
The slumber is over
The flowers are here
Baby ducks greet me at the swamp
It’s time to burst with life
But I’ll do it with tired eyes
And a tired heart
But when my life is as magical as it is
I’ll take the sleepless nights making art
And teary goodbyes with lovers
Over anything else
It’s an enriching and humbling human experience to feel like you’ve given your full heart and soul into everything you do
You’re always winning
When your heart is open 🩷

What a magical night !! Thank you so much Rachel Burke for inviting me to watch this incredible show. I’m still in awe and I feel like this show sprinkled magic on everyone who was around it. Huge congratulations to everyone involved Patience Hodgson and Rachel you did such a phenomenal job at putting this show together. 🩷🩷 thank you to s k Y e who came along and dressed up with me . I cherish nights where I can dress up and share my love of fashion with my friends ! So many laughs I can’t even count . My heart is full.

I feel so incredibly lucky to have a life filled with beautiful humans who teach me so much everyday! How to unlearn so much and shape a life I never knew possible. Alfie Rogers is one of the people who has had a big impact on my personal journey with learning about polyamory and just how wholesome it can be ! I am so delighted to have Alfie model for this years Finding ColourPuff World photo shoot. I love everything Alfie represents and champions! Give them a warm welcome because we are all so lucky to share this magic ! 🧚🌟

I am so incredibly excited to yarn bomb one of Sellma prized props from her art ! It feels like worlds colliding and I’m grateful to have friends who bring such unique energies into my arts practise ! I’m so honoured to create art with people who continue to inspire me and push the beliefs of what crochet can be and how powerful it can be. I’m always so elated to see people wear my art and embody it. I make it in hopes of finding something that feels out of reach for me and you all are helping me find these little pieces of myself I thought were lost. I’m continually inspired by the community around me and this years shoot is going to be even more magical ! To everyone who has been apart of finding this crazy ColourPuff World with me thank you thank you thank you 🩷🌟 You’ve made me feel like I belong and that I can take up space in art and in life and that is a beautiful thing .

Eeeek I’m so excited for 2027 already! This is such a special project and I’m so grateful HWSD Tasmania / Make Yarn and Manage Threads have asked me to be the keynote speaker at the inaugural fibre fest 2027. So much information to come but for now enjoy the adventure around Launceston!
