🌐 qums.org.au While maintaining strong links to the University and the Student Union, membership is open to the entire community. Our members come from a diverse array o
f backgrounds and disciplines (not to mention levels of musical experience), to make music in a fun, social, and supportive environment. QUMS holds several performances each year, and our repertoire ranges from major classical works to contemporary chart hits or musical theatre. We are also available for hire for weddings, funerals, corporate functions and especially Christmas caroling. As well as our music-making, we enjoy being a very social group, with post-rehearsal coffee, camps, dinners and other events all featuring on our social schedule. We aren't just a choir, but a large group of friends! QUMS is a proud member of the Australian Intervarsity Choral Societies’ Association (AICSA), which includes similar choirs from universities around the country, and regularly unites over 150 university choristers for ten days to two weeks of music and fun at the annual Intervarsity Choral Festivals.
