Rigorous judging takes place before the best of the best are crowned throughout May, June and July. Throughout the 9 days of Ekka in August, champion products will be showcased at the Royal Queensla

This week, all entries for the Royal Queensland Wine Awards supported by King Street and The Star Brisbane arrived, ready for judging. From carefully unpacking and cataloguing every bottle to preparing for days of tasting, it's a behind-the-scenes process that few get to see.

From June 29, the judges have the tough job of assessing the wines to determine this year's champions. 🏆
