Successful Indigenous demonstration 2018!
100 energetic and emotional photographs of The Indigenous demonstration march against the official Australia Day Celebration by thousands of participants from many indigenous tribes and supporters on the 26th of January 2018 in Brisbane City. This was a peaceful demonstration with a strong message to the Government that the Indigenous communities are hurting due to what that particular date means to them and that they are demanding to change the date from which the Australia Day is currently celebrated.

Photography by Vegos Fun's and Artivity's Director Rico Andrade, supporter of the demonstration march and creator of The Vegan Australia Day.

Following the urgent requests from the Indigenous communities to all Australian Citizens to celebrate Australia Day on a different Date, The Vegan Australia Day is already celebrated on a different date in solidarity and support to the indigenous Australian communities.

The Vegan Australia Day Team is committed to support the indigenous demonstration to change the date and it will be donating cruelty free food at the end of the march as well as photographing the march again in 2019.

Photographer Assistant/Trainee wanted!
We are looking for a part-time/casual photographer assistant/trainee!
On work experience basis in the Brisbane area only.
You will be assisting in photographing performing arts, corporate events, portraits. fashion and commercial assignments.
Training will be provided at the required level depending on selected assistant's experience.
You will be able to learn from basic photography to a professional level skills.
Other skills that you will be able to learn with us are: Graphic design, Photoshop, and Corel draw.
This position will suit a photography student or an interested photography hobbyist.

You will need to be easy going, interested in learning, have good communication skills, have a friendly nature and good customer relations experience.
Local travelling and meals cost will be covered.
You will have the opportunity to do paid photography work depending on learning skills.
With your own photography equipment preferred but otherwise it will be provided and instructed in various levels of equipment.
