QUT Concert Band

End of Semester performance at Queen Street Mall couldn't have been more fun! Concert Band was finally able to showcase what we had been working on all semester to the public! The set flew by. We livestreamed the Performance on the Qmuso page. It was a lovely day full of music. We loved performing alongside our other ensembles and Voxppop and Academics. We also showcased Concert Band and String Theory's collaboration the Qmuso Orchestra which played Le Mis, How to Train Your Dragon and Carmen.

Run Run Run as fast as you can, you can't catch us we're Concert Band!
It was such a joy to perform at the QUT Classic encouraging all the runners! We had to be up early... but we were excited to play music from James Bond, Spain, Incredibles and more!

Our Semester 1 Open Rehearsal at the Yeerongpilly studio was a blast🥁. It was wonderful to see so many old and new faces alike joining together to make some great music.

As we get back into things for Semester 2, it's nice to look back at where we started! We had so much fun being all back together again in Feb at the Welcome week performance for Semester 1 2023
