Celebrating 10 Years ☘️
In June 2016, Tim, Craig, Matt and Cat met for the very first time at Tim's house for our first-ever band rehearsal. On a quest to carve out our place in the Celtic music scene and connect with our Celtic roots, we rehearsed every week, attended gigs, and worked towards a shared vision 😃
Our first gig was on 10 September 2016, playing for beers to around 20 locals at a little Irish pub in Manly called Celtic Corner. By 17 March 2017, we were entertaining to more than 500 St Patrick's Day partygoers at Finn McCool's in Fortitude Valley 🎻
Fast forward 10 years, we have had members come and go, added Irish dancers, and performed hundreds of gigs. We've entertained at many weddings, birthday parties, corporate events and festivals, and have performed alongside some incredible acts, including world-renowned touring artists Andrew Strong, Gerry O'Connor and Paul Anderson 🤗
Along the way, we've appeared on Channel 9 Today breakfast show, given multiple radio interviews, including recently performing live on KIIS FM with The Morning Crew, Robin, Kipp & Corey, recorded three EPs and a CD, produced two music videos, with a third on the way, plus not to forget, Australian Celtic Music Award recipients in 2020 for best new talent 😃
We have laughed, cried, argued and partied hard together, and it has been a wild, fun and unforgettable journey 💚
The current line-up of Tim, Craig, Belle and Rabbit, together with The Shamrock Dancers Molly, Sarah, Yazzie and Sarah and our amazing crew members Nicky, Tanya, Michelle, Fi and Soks, would like to thank all of our followers and everyone who has enjoyed our music and entertainment over the years - We do this for you 😘
