Wanna be a student for a day at MIC?!
How would you like to be (or return to being!) a student for a day? We think you’d be especially interested if the subjects up for discussion were philosophical - a real taste of what it’s like to practice and engage with philosophy here on campus.
We have the perfect day planned for you (and your partner or a friend!).. The event is called KNOWONDER, and we would love to see you in our classrooms - enlivening the space with discussion, observation and reflection.
Hosted at MIC and presented by The Brisbane School of Philosophy, the day is structured around two 90-minute sessions of your choice. Each workshop is interactive, with plenty of space for thoughtful questions and collaborative group discussion.
Between sessions, enjoy a tea break and a wholesome vegetarian lunch over some live acoustic music by MIC alumna, Charlotte Trevaskes; perfect moments to forge new friendships and reflect on the morning’s insights. The day culminates in a keynote address for all participants, Living Well, Wisely, by our guest speaker from Melbourne, Marita Brewster.
