First Experiment with coloured ink rather than water colour. Have to practice my oceans more but stoked with my sunrise sky.

Knew I couldn’t get past drawing a sunrise on the east coast.

Happy Year of the Snake! 🐍
Challenged by drawwithkoko to draw a snake character and my brain short circuited and focused on an absolute Aussie Legend - Steve Irwin. And if you want to talk about destiny - apparently he was also born in the year of the snake.

Ink - but procreate added the speech bubble and text.

The crows are too bloody smart…. So I tried to represent that.
(Some schools have had to buy and padlock fridges fof kids lunches because crows go up to the bag racks, unzip a kids bag then open their lunchbox and help themselves… then they figured out how to open the fridge)

you will see old reflective CDs hung up to scare the crows but I am not sure that works either.

The hi-vis jacket is just reflective…. Everyone owns one!

But the bike helmet with zip ties is actually another bird - the magpie! Doesn’t stop it swooping but just gives you a bit of space.
