There was many a shenanigan to be had, as identical twins were played by the same person, love was declared to the wrong sister, and ribald jokes abound in the bard's trademark tone of voice. Behold! A bright spot in the future! With everything feeling like... it is right now, it's nice to know that there's a bright spot to look forward to in the future. This particular bright spot is the one on your calendar on Monday, April 14 and says 'PLAYground, 6pm, PIP Theatre'. It'll be exciting to see actors treading the boards articulating lines they didn't know until about 2 seconds before they read them out. It'll be fun to be in the audience watching the madness PLAY out! As a playwright it'll be a whole new wonderful feeling watching everything PLAY out. Might even write a scene or two about it! 7th Floor Theatre has just hit over 2000 followers on Facebook! A truly massive thank you to everyone who follows our page, and invited others, we could not have done this without you! We hope that you continue to interact with, support and straight up enjoy all of the fun things we do at PLAYground and other 7th Floor Theatre productions. A huge thanks to our Artistic Director Hayden who has steered this ship, and the rest of the crew that shares his creative vision. This is a massive milestone and a great way to celebrate a Friday!

In case you missed it, here is a snapshot of some of the shenanigans that were had on Monday night! We had cavemen discovering the 'homo' in homoerectus in the mystery play; we learnt some really cool things with our show and tell section, including a rare and welcome appearance by everyone's favourite bartender, Tiff; and finally finished with a fabulously funny play that delved into all things psychological and featuring a rather unconventional love story. Thanks again to our playwright of the month, Robbie, for your words! We hope to have you back PLAYing again sometime! Thank you also to the brave actors and the wonderful audience, it was a fun and PLAYful night indeed!
