Huli Huli Chicken is a popular Hawaiian dish known for its sweet and savory tropical flavor, easy to make and perfect for grilling, a local favorite.

Ingredients:
½ cup ketchup
½ cup soy sauce shoyu
½ cup brown sugar
1/2 cup canned pineapple juice* do not use fresh
¼ cup rice vinegar apple cider vinegar is good, too
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1-2 tablespoon hot sauce or sriracha optional, for a spicy kick
4 cloves garlic minced
1 tablespoon minced ginger
3 pounds chicken thighs boneless, skinless
Oil for the grill

Venue: Rocklea Showgrounds - mostly undercover and really nicely refurbished spaces!

Our 2022 Briz Chilli Fest Halloween was a great success at this venue which is purpose-built for dealing with crowds / parking etc.

Always fun to catch up with Steen Gundesen of KickAss Chilli & Co a real family affair. Tried their new smokey chilli honey and it was sooooooooooooo good!
