It was a joy to welcome the team into Opera Queensland's studio today as they begin diving deep into the enchanting underwater world of this spellbinding opera.

Opening at QPAC's Glasshouse Theatre next month.

These exceptional muscians and and singers performed at our headline concerts, delivered 'tiny concerts' through the streets, and introduced our annual Cultural Conversation panel discussion.

Day 4 at the Festival of Outback Opera ✨

Hello, Longreach! We celebrated refined flavours, outback hospitality and joyous music at our annual Long Lunch, held this year at the Qantas Founders Museum, surrounded by incredible historical archives.

At the Longreach Show, All Together Now! delighted an ecstatic crowd with vibrant vignettes. And as the sun set, you may have even caught a glimpse of OQ down sideshow alley...

Day 3 at the Festival of Outback Opera ✨

Opera Queensland took to the North Gregory Hotel to host a panel discussion on opera’s unique role in the regions, joined by singers from The University of Queensland.

As the sun set behind the Australian Age of Dinosaurs, the outback put on quite a show for Dark Sky Serenade. 🌌

The gala concert featured headline tenor Filipe Manu alongside Opera Queensland artists, musicians from Camerata, and performers from The University of Queensland, all under the baton of Richard Mills.

From soaring arias to a breathtaking blackout beneath the expansive sky, audiences were treated to a specially created piece by artist K Mak.
