We are on the look out for a photographer to join my Team - Red Cherry Kindy & Childcare Photography. www.redcherryimages.com.au

Who is this role perfect for ?
A family photographer that would like work during the weekday mornings to shoot and hand over cards at the end of the morning. (opportunity to cull/edit also at a later stage).

📍 Start: Mid JULY 2026
📍 Locations: All over Brisbane and surrounds
📍 Work type: Casual, Weekdays , school terms only (Mar- end Nov).
📍 Hours: 8 am - 11 am shoot time in the morning to start with + 2 hours edit time in afternoons once trained to cull/edit.
2 /days per week initially.
Training rate - $50/hr to start with initially until you are able to work independantly.
Working with another photographer or assistant $60/hr + depending on experience level.
Solo photography jobs $75 / hr + depending on experience.
Travel + Tolls paid.

Applicant MUST NOT be wanting full time work.

🌈 This role is also for you if you:
Enjoy working with children aged 6 weeks to 6 years
Are warm, kind, calm under pressure, and great at thinking on your feet
Able to crouch up and down, sit on the ground without issue
Okay to wipe dirty noses and faces and tidy children before photos.
Are organised, dependable, and show up on time
Have excellent spoken English
Hold a current Working with Children Blue Card
Have reliable transport okay with travelling all over Brisbane - Travel time is paid after your first 30 mins from home + tolls
Are available at least 3 mornings per week, Monday–Friday. (Depends on schedule). You will be given a 4-6 weeks of work about 2 weeks in advance so you can plan

Hooray for Term 2 ! We are in full swing for term 2 (as well as lots of swing photos ahead).

We just couldnt do it without our monkey friend ! Check him out Monkey's Special skills :

How cute is this ! This will be perfect in years to come when parents are sorting back through photo prints..... A quick indicator of when the photo was taken. I know this because it is a current "me" issue as I sort through years of photos - the time has come to do this task and organise and digitise all my old family photos.

I was only just thinking.... wow... Kindy kids I Photographed in 2013/2014 are now learning to drive !

Here is one of my son Bradley - kindy photo taken in 2014 at &K Mt Gravatt East Kindy way way back when I first started capturing kindy photos ...... then today - Driving me around whilst I instruct him on the finer points of being 'driver aware' (he loves that I give him rationales for everything when driving... yeah not.

If your child was photographed by me (Trina) and is now learning to drive ! please share their kindy photo. I will most likely remember their face !
