The Empire has Struck(eth) Back, and our heroes are now enjoying a well-earned rest. We’d like to thank all of our wonderful audience members who came to see us, and we’re so glad we were able to share this show with you.
Keep an eye out here for what our next project will be. But perhaps…. You can take a guess…

Thanks must also go to our magnificent cast, our brilliant prop makers, our genius costumers, the insanely talented musicians and all the volunteers who were part of this production. We could not do this without every single one of you.

Thank you. We love you. Let’s do this again real soon.

Review

Empire is a non-stop rollicking good time. From a clever script to excellent comic performances to clever direction, this is a true labour of love which wraps its arms around you and tickles you until you are laughing in the aisles. This is one of those shows where you can see how much fun everyone is having and the true dedication to creating a wonderful end product. Tallulah, as director, has made excellent use of a bare bones stage, relying on pulling some stellar performances from the cast, who are only supported by some clever costuming and minimal props.

Whether you are a Shakespeare fan, Star Wars nerd, camp humour enthusiast or just a lover of theatre, this show is for you. In fact, Shakespeare would be impressed by how wide an audience this production can entertain. This is truly theatre for the masses.

Be prepared for an evening of joy and laughter as this team of wonderful people present this classic tale in true bard fashion complete with paws on a stick and a kazoo.

The Bard Wars cast have been enjoying a much deserved week off as the wonderful , and John Grey have been busy with another production. But the rest of us are all rested up and ready to go!
