Celebrating our Brightest Stars! ✨

At our Second Birthday party, we awarded our Brightest Star awards for each production so far. The Brightest Star awards are voted on by our cast, and celebrate the performers who bring our values of Care, Courage, Creativity and Community to the forefront of everything they do throughout their production weeks.

It’s everyone’s favourite dancing cowboy, congratulations to our Brightest Star for Rock of Ages, Victoria! Rock of Ages marked Victoria’s third Second Star show (although she’s now up to four) and we could not be prouder of her. A self-described “dancer first”, Vic bravely stepped up into a major singing and acting role, and handled it like a pro, even while singing in Spanish, and being (fake) punched off stage! (It was sooo rock’n’roll!) 🤘

For our most recent production of Disney’s Frozen JR, congratulations to Natalia! Natalia brought to life our loveable snowman, Olaf, but even out of character, she was there for every cast member with a smile and words of encouragement. Frozen JR marked Natalia’s first show with Second Star and we can’t wait to see her on stage again! ☃️
