Head to the link in our bio (on the post datum website!!!) to see a digital version of the lovesick zine if you missed out of the night, or to read an accessible version of Ruby’s essay. This closes up our lovely little lovesick era (though we’ll always be lovesick in our hearts) thank you for the support of everyone throughout this heavy exhibition period of the year - we are so thankful for our friends, family and the creative community as a whole 💗

SPECIAL GUEST // SAM HOPE ‼️💗🚨
We’re excited to announce Sam Hope as a featured artist in LOVESICK 2026.
A Brisbane/Meanjin-based artist and writer, Sam’s practice navigates memory, grief, and the formation of self. Through photography, installation, and immersive works, she revisits the past as a site of both comfort and loss, exploring the ways memory shapes who we are and who we become.
Her work reflects on childhood, nostalgia, and the ongoing experience of living with grief—seeking to maintain a sense of self while carrying loss forward.
We’re honoured to share Sam’s work as part of this year’s exhibition.

LOVESICK is coming.
A night of longing, lust, devotion, heartbreak, obsession, fantasy, memory, regret, and everything that lingers after.
On 26 June, emerging artists from across Meanjin will transform The Station, Fortitude Valley into a shrine to love in all its ugly and beautiful forms.
Some works will break your heart.
Some will make you blush.
Some will remind you of someone you’d rather forget.
