Flipside Circus is Queensland’s largest youth circus company with a national reputation for excellence in training and performance. We believe circus provides a unique opportunity for young people to show off, to take risks, to trust, to dream and aspire, to work hard, to laugh, and to have fun! Flipside is a not-for-profit organisation that provides:
> Regular classes and training at our training

centre and right across Queensland;
> An artistic program of performances by, for, and with young people;
> Community and social circus programs;

Last night the creatives of We Live Here visited Hummingbird House.

It was a powerful reminder of why this story matters. The show honours the incredible health workers, families, and everyone who creates moments of joy, wonder, and magic for children and their loved ones during the most difficult times.

It's a beautiful, tender, and deeply moving experience. Hummingbird House is such a warm and welcoming space for families. A huge thank you to Tayla for so generously hosting us.

Thank you again for supporting Flipside, Hummingbird House, and this work. We can't wait to share it with you all.

Every show starts somewhere. For We Live Here, it started at Hummingbird House.

This behind-the-scenes video takes you inside the making of our award-winning circus production — from the early conversations with families and staff at Hummingbird House, Queensland's only children's hospice, to the stage at Brisbane Circus Centre.

What came out of those conversations became a show about resilience, love, and the small moments that turn out to matter most.

Tomorrow we're hosting a Community Garage Sale!

Flipside families have donated their treasure for sale at the Brisbane Circus Centre tomorrow from 9am. All proceeds go towards our fundraising campaign.

We have some wonderful news to share. 🎪

Flipside Circus has been named a recipient of the Brisbane Airport Community Giving Fund. We couldn't be more grateful.

Since Flipside's inception, we've believed in the power of circus to transform lives. From aerials and acrobatics to our All Abilities programs and First Nations initiatives, everything we do is about empowering young people and communities to reach new heights (literally and figuratively).

This support from Brisbane Airport means we can keep doing exactly that. Thank you, Brisbane Airport , for investing in the young people and communities that make this city so special. 🙏

Term 1 is coming to an end! It's been a fantastic start to the year with lots of smiles, new tricks learnt and happy families coming through the Brisbane Circus Centre. We'll be back for Term 2 on 20 April for another 10 weeks of circus classes.

Gumtreekids x Flipside Circus: Special Circus Play Day!

Join us for a fun-filled morning as Gumtree Kids teams up with Flipside Circus in Hamilton for a special circus-themed play experience on April 8th!

The morning kicks off with 30 minutes of hands-on circus fun with the Flipside Circus crew from 9:30–10:00 AM, where little ones can explore beginner circus skills and playful movement.

Then from 10:00–11:30 AM, the fun continues with Gumtree Kids’ circus-themed messy and sensory play, packed with colourful trays, hands-on exploration, and imaginative play inspired by the magic of the circus.

This action-packed morning is perfect for children aged 1–6 years, giving little ones the chance to move, play, explore, and get messy in a safe and creative environment.

Come along, join the fun, and experience a unique morning of circus play and sensory exploration.
