Little egret (Egretta garzetta)

This project pushed me more than I expected - I procrastinated for months, unsure how to tackle it. But I finally pushed through, and now it’s finally done!!♥️

Proudly say this is one of my proudest projects. Representing a white bird in thread was tricky, so I using blue in the shadows to give it depth. Though the design was inspired by an online painting, working on it was both a challenge and a learning experience.

It may have taken longer than planned (okay, a lot longer), but it’s done! The egret turned out great, and I only had a few breakdown along the way - so I’d call that a success!😂

You’ll need to be both lucky and ready to travel long distances to encounter one!

It’s been a while since my last post. So much has happened in the past few weeks, and I have experienced significant career progression.

While I am excited about the new changes, I find that my time devoted to embroidery has decreased due to my new responsibilities. For years, owning an embroidery store has been a cherished dream of mine, and sometimes I feel guilty for not making it my top priority.

I wonder when I can turn this passion into my full-time job. Is it even possible?
