A very special first for Sylvie today 🩰🤍 Pointe shoes!

Amongst all the excitement, our time together was spent…
Finding her placement and use of feet 🙌 Understanding how to rise correctly in her shoes ✅ And starting to build confidence in what feels like a completely new way of working 💪

So proud of Sylvie today! She worked so beautifully and is so ready for this next challenge! 🩰✨

One of my favourite things about working 1:1 with adult dancers is having the time to really get into all those little details 🩰✨

In a class, you’re often concentrating on remembering the exercise… keeping up with the music… and getting your feet in the right place 😅

A private gives us time to slow it down and look at the things that make ballet feel so beautiful - head position, épaulement, coordination, musicality and all those tiny details that can completely change a movement.

You don’t need to be training for anything. You can simply want to understand your ballet a little better 🤍

I have a few Term 4 spaces available for adult dancers, both in person and online.

Term 4 is sneaking up on us 🥹🩰 and I have just a few private coaching spaces left! All ages welcome.

I absolutely love getting to work one-on-one with my dancers. It means slowing things down and finding those little corrections that make things click 🤍

✨ Current Term 4 spaces:
Tuesday 4pm — fortnightly
Thursday 4:30pm — fortnightly
Friday 4pm — weekly
Saturday 11am — occasional

Coaching is available in person from my Chapel Hill studio or online, with school-hour sessions also available.

Getting to slow things down, look at the little details and find the correction that helps everything make a little more sense is one of my favourite parts of private coaching ✨

Sometimes it’s not a huge change, just one small adjustment that can make such a difference to how a step feels and looks.
