I absolutely LOVE watching what happens at our Performance Nights. ❤️
Because honestly… **Performance Nights are magical. ✨**
I see it all the time…
Members who start out saying, **“There is absolutely NO WAY I am performing!”** 😂
They watch from the sidelines, cheer everyone else on, and convince themselves that performing is just not for them.
And then something changes.
They decide to step outside their comfort zone. They learn a routine, get up on that stage, and suddenly they are doing the very thing they were convinced they could NEVER do.
And honestly… watching that transformation is one of my favourite parts of what we do.
It’s not really about the performance. It’s about what happens inside you when you do something that scares you.
The confidence.
The pride.
The nerves.
The excitement.
That **“OMG… I actually did that!”** moment. 🥹
And then there’s the other side of it that I love just as much…
Watching people come along to our Performance Nights who have never done pole or aerials before, sitting in the audience completely blown away by what they see.
I hear things like:
**“I want to do that!”**
**“I didn’t know people could do that!”**
**“Maybe I could actually try this…”**
And THAT is the magic.
Because the person sitting in the audience watching someone else perform might just be watching their future self.
That’s why I think Performance Nights are so special. They aren't just about getting on stage. They are about celebrating how far you've come, watching your friends do things they never thought possible, and inspiring the person sitting next to you to believe that maybe they can do it too.
✨ **So, what actually is a Performance Night?**
At Elements, we hold at least **two Performance Nights every year**, and each one has its own theme.
Our members have the opportunity to learn and rehearse routines **during their regular classes in the lead-up to the show**, with routines created specifically around the theme. Then, on the night, we bring everyone together to put on a show for family, friends, fellow members and anyone who wants to come along.
It doesn't matter whether you've been doing pole or aerials for years or you're still relatively new. It’s about getting involved, having fun, challenging yourself and being part of something really special.
And yes… there are nerves. 😂
But there is also SO much cheering, encouragement, laughter, excitement and pride.
So if you've ever thought, *“There is no way I could ever get up on that stage…”*
Never say never. 😉
I’ve watched so many of you prove yourselves wrong.
And I couldn’t be prouder.
Sometimes you just need to be brave enough to take that first step outside your comfort zone.
And who knows… maybe one day, someone will be sitting in the audience watching **you** and thinking…
**“I want to do that.”** ✨
Much Love Sam xo
